On 25th February 2007, the New Chinese Centre was launched at Hesters Way Community Resource Centre in Cheltenham.
The Chinese Centre is a place open to people from all walks of life who are interested in Chinese culture and language. In addition to our Mandarin Library, we have many other different activities.

Mandarin Library
The Mandarin Library opened on 1st November 2006 to all Chinese teachers, students, members of our organisation, and the public, with a £5 annual membership fee. You can visit the library based at the Chinese Centre in Hesters Way Community Resource Centre between 12 and 3pm every sunday during school term-time.
Currently we have a good selection of books, DVDs, cassettes and flash cards for both adults and children to help you teach or learn Mandarin. Apart from reference books, items can be borrowed for up to three weeks.

Opening times:
The Chinese Centre is open to the public on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 1pm-6pm.
